Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of Started COD Order Editor (the “App”), provided by STARTED DIGITAL SRL, Str. Floreiului, nr. 566, Valea Doftanei, Prahova, Romania (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By installing or using the App, the Shopify merchant agrees to these Terms.

Service

The App allows authorized Shopify staff to create a corrected replacement for an eligible pending, unfulfilled Cash on Delivery order. After the replacement is created successfully, the App requests cancellation and restocking of the original order.

The merchant remains responsible for reviewing all changes, the final order total, tax treatment, inventory, shipping details, customer information, and fulfillment before confirming a replacement.

Eligibility and account security

The merchant must have authority to install apps and modify orders in the connected Shopify store. The merchant is responsible for controlling staff access to Shopify Admin and for actions performed through its account.

Fees

The Free plan includes up to five successful order edits per calendar month. The allowance resets at the start of each month in UTC and unused edits do not carry forward. The Standard plan costs 29 USD every 30 days and includes unlimited edits. Standard charges, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are processed through Shopify's billing system and applicable policies.

Acceptable use

The merchant must not:

• use the App unlawfully or to violate customer rights;
• attempt to bypass Shopify permissions or App eligibility controls;
• interfere with, reverse engineer, or disrupt the App or its infrastructure;
• use the App to process fraudulent or unauthorized orders.

Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may update the App to improve security, compatibility, or functionality. Material changes will be communicated when required.

Support

Support is available at office@started.ro or through our support page. The merchant should include the shop domain and affected order number but must not send passwords, access tokens, or payment-card data.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability relating to the App will not exceed the fees paid by the merchant for the App during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Termination

The merchant may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend access for security risks, non-payment, unlawful use, or material breach of these Terms. Shopify billing cancellation rules continue to apply.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts with jurisdiction over Valea Doftanei, Prahova, will have jurisdiction unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
